In an effort to conserve the Shoalhaven landscape they loved so deeply for future generations, Boyd and his wife Yvonne gifted their Bundanon property, comprising 1,100 hectares of pristine bush land overlooking the Shoalhaven River, near Nowra in New South Wales, to the Australian people in 1993.

The present work is imposing in scale and testifies to Boyd’s deep attachment to this particular Australian vista.
